Braces or teeth straightening also known as Orthodontic Treatment is for the correction of crooked, protruding teeth and to close spaces between teeth. Braces can be of following types:
Ceramic brackets are clear or tooth colored used for patients who want to minimise the visibility of their braces.
Lingual braces are placed behind the teeth. These are highly cosmetic alternativeto those patients who otherwise would not consider treatment. There may be intial discomfort to the tongue which reduces as the treatment progress.
These are removable, invisible set of aligners for aligning the teeth.These have to be worn by patient throughout the day and night except for eating and brushing. Patient complaince is highly important.
